A listing should offer free general admission, not merely a free shop, café, resident-only offer or occasional promotion. Where booking, parking, transport, donations or paid extras matter, we try to say so. Unknown costs are better left unknown than guessed.
How we build trust
Curated listings are checked against official venue, council, charity or other credible sources before they are presented as verified. We record the source and review practical details such as admission scope, parking and access notes. Live results from external data sources are labelled differently because they have not received the same editorial check.
Places and events change. A source link and checked date are evidence, not a permanent promise. Always confirm the latest details with the venue or organiser before travelling.
What affects recommendations
The aim is to surface useful nearby options using relevance, distance, category and the quality of available information. Commercial relationships must not turn a paid or conditional attraction into a verified free listing.
